A Vision with Heart

Tampa may be a diverse and thriving city, but sometimes cultural niches can be overlooked. Tampa's Nepali community faced a unique challenge – the absence of Nepali movies in local theaters due to limited demand. Our President, committed to giving back, envisioned an unforgettable experience for his fellow Nepali residents: the joy of watching a Nepali movie on the big screen, right in their hometown.

A Leap of Faith

Our President decided to take a bold step. He acquired the copyright for a Nepali movie and booked a private screening. The aim was simple: to entertain and raise awareness about TFE's impactful projects, despite the financial risks involved.

A Community United

The response was nothing short of heartwarming. The Nepali community rallied behind this initiative, filling the theater with laughter, tears, and cheers. But it didn't stop there. Many individuals who couldn't attend the event purchased tickets or made direct donations to support TFE's cause.

Local Businesses Join In

Community spirit knows no boundaries, and local businesses recognized the value of this event. Several businesses enthusiastically sponsored the screening, helping to reduce operating costs and maximize the impact of the funds raised. Their support was invaluable in making this event a success.

Funding Our Dreams

Thanks to the unwavering support of the Nepali community, generous individuals, and local businesses, TFE's first fundraiser was a resounding success. The funds raised supported our Project Students for this year, providing them with education and empowerment opportunities.
